I've been actually using this as my logon screen for awhile now (months?) and although I like it very much, I have to move on...

I agree that the pixelation is a concern, but for the sake of Star Trek, I kept with it for the coolness factor (in my geek crowd of friends). My main concern with it is that there is no "Windows is shutting down" message upon shutdown, and I'm starting to miss that (or something).

Wow, very cool! It'd be nice if you could find a higher-resolution version of the UFP logo; that would reduce the pixelation. Great job, though!

I am leniant towards this because it is Star Trek. Good idea though. If anyone can improve on this it would be VERY sweet.

cool! that is a sweet idea.

Too bad i don't waste an extra 20 seconds of boot time on a boot screen, or even use XP for that matter. I suppose i could set it as a login background in Win2k :) (Smile)
